I warmly recommend the Lite Choice soft Ice-cream. This is a different world. My sister and I treat ourselves when ever we are in the area.
I agree with you, Sam.Watson. Most people don't look or don't understand the nutritional information. We need to be carefull of what we put in our bodies. All these yogurt places, Pinkberry, Tangysweet and others are realy not healthy. Watch what you eat washdcgirl!

I'm so trilled that finally we have a healthier option in NYC. "The Lite Choice is the "Litest Choice" in NYC. TLC is not frozen yogurt it is a frozen dessert, they mostly advertise it as a Soft Serve. Not because it is advertised as Yogurt means that it is healthier, for instance check out Yogurt Land's Ingredient list. www.yogurt-land.com/pdf/Arctic%20Vanilla.pdf Poison!! TDL is a Natural NOT All Natural, which is how they advertise themselves as, they also add corn syrup and artificial flavoring into their flavors. Pinkberry is another yogurt shop that is not healthy, it is filled with unhealthy ingredients and it is high in sugar. Like I wrote earlier, The Lite Choice is the Healthiest choice in NYC because they serve 100% All-Natural and Organic Flavors, No Corn Syrup Added and they are also Kosher.

Hands down The Lite Choice. Living in NYC with so many yogurt/soft serve shop choices, it could be an overwhelming decision, but to tell you the truth, none compare to The Lite Choice. It is NYC's only soft serve offering Organic Flavors and it is still low in fat, calories, etc. One of it's perks is that they only use All Natural ingredients and there's No Corn Syrup Added.

My wife and I stop there from time to time for a cookie. You are right-they are good. Whether they come close to being amongst the best in the world is pushing it. However, you are aso correct in that they are EXPENSIVE and is doubtful they are worth close to $4 a pop.

So as Washdcgirl reminded me Yogurtland should definitely be in this post. The funny thing is her post is what inspired this Tuesday Poll and yet I completely forgot to include the company. That is probably because I have never personally patronized the establishment, but that ended today when I discovered that they have one location down in Greenwich Village.

Here are my thoughts: Yes the self serve is amazing, yes the paying by ounce is even better, and yes the flavors and topping choices rock. But there is something about the way Pinkberry tastes that still out does Yogurtland. It could be that their freezers keep it at a lower temperature for all I know but it just has this fresher taste.

However as far as routine visits go, if Yogurtland was around me it would be my pick considering it is easily half the price of Pinkberry if not less.

I tried Yogurtland in AZ, also went to Yogurtini. I thought the quality was much better at Yogurtini and they had some amazing topping choices. www.yogurtini.com , it's self serve and near ASU
